Catalan folk duo Tarta Relena make their Atlanta debut here at SCADshow. This innovative vocal project born in 2016, dedicate their sound to exploring the rich tapestry of a cappella music with roots stretching across the Mediterranean and a unique repertoire that spans from traditional oral music to original compositions. Renowned for their captivating live performances, Tarta Relena has enchanted audiences at festivals like Sónar, Le Guess Who?, Mutek, Big Ears, and Primavera Sound.

Presenting their latest album És pregunta, which flirts with the notion of tragic thinking: diverse characters who find themselves facing unstoppable consequences, known and unknown at the same time. A conceptual journey through fate, knowledge, and the struggle to reconcile our future selves with present realities.
