SCADfilm Cinema Circle: Scream
Chill out with us Friday, July 11th, as we gather for ice cream at SCADshow and watch Wes Craven’s horror classic, Scream. Widely regarded as a game-changer in the horror genre, Scream (1996) revived slasher films for a new generation. With its razor-sharp script by Kevin Williamson, Scream cleverly blends self-aware humor, genre-savvy characters, and genuine scares. It subverts horror clichés while still delivering the thrills that made audiences fall in love with the genre in the first place. Featuring standout performances from Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette, Scream is both a love letter to horror and a bold reimagining of what the genre could be.
Before the film, join us for an Ice Cream Social at SCADshow, where we’ll be serving free ice cream starting at 6 p.m.—the perfect way to cool down before the screams begin. The film screening will follow at 7 p.m. in the Main Stage theater. This event is open to the public. Tickets are free for SCAD Card holders and $5 for the general public.
