Road Trip: Improv Based on Stories | Featuring Andrew Stanley

Road Trip is a completely improvised show based on real stories featuring a rotating cast of some of the best and newest improvisers + storytellers in ATL. Previous storytellers have been seen on shows like America's Got Talent, "Parks and Rec," "Grace and Frankie," FOX's "Animal Control," Just for Laughs, Conan, Wild 'N Out, Comedy Central, Late Night, FX's "English Teacher," Dropout.TV, and more!

Experience the biggest independent improv show in Atlanta, most commonly referred to as "the heartbeat of Atlanta improv" and a show that is always categorized as "electric," for a special pop-up event in the heart of Midtown.

For Road Trip's first show at SCADShow, we are honored to have Andrew Stanley return as the featured storyteller! Growing up as a homeschooled preacher’s kid, it was unlikely that Andrew Stanley would ever find love, become a comedian, or contribute to society in a meaningful way. Two out of three is not too bad! Now a husband, father, and fast-rising stand-up comedian, Andrew has been performing all over the country since 2016. His unique perspective pairs well with his dry delivery and observational nature.  Andrew can be heard regularly on Sirius XM radio, he was selected as a New Face of Comedy at Montreal’s prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, and he appeared on Nate Bargatze’s “The Showcase” on Nateland in 2023. Andrew’s parents are still alive so he works clean.

Opening for the show will be a short set from SCAD's very own improv students! It's going to be a great, hilarious night - don't miss it.

Pre-purchased tickets are $15 for the general public (to end on March 31st), $20 for Day of Event Purchases, and $10 for SCAD cardholders (students, faculty, and staff). Parking for the public is available in the nearby parking deck at the corner of 18th and Spring. Continue down Spring St NW past the SCADshow building, then take a left at the light onto 18th St NW. The deck will be immediately on your left-hand side. For more information on ticketing or parking, please Visit Here.
