Double Feature: Memoir of a Snail & SCAD Animation Showcase

AnimationFest returns with an exciting double feature! Join us for a preview screening of the 2024 Annecy Cristal award-wining stop-motion film Memoir of a Snail. The film, from Academy Award-winning animation writer and director Adam Elliot, is a poignant, heartfelt, and hilarious chronicle of the life of an outsider finding her confidence and silver linings amongst the clutter of everyday life. 

SCAD Animation Showcase - 8:15 p.m. 

Next up- incredible work by SCAD Animation students will take to the big screen for the SCAD Animation Showcase! The audience is in for a treat with this selection of student-produced short films showcasing a range of styles and techniques that SCAD students have developed as they prepare for careers in film, TV, and beyond. 

Tickets are free for SCAD students, faculty, and staff, $5 for SCAD alumni, and $10 for the general public.
