BAM! Celebrating Black Artist in Music

SCAD’s acclaimed concert celebration of Black History Month and Black musical artists, BAM! is back once again.  This time honoring the influential voices of Black musical artists and their monumental contributions to the world of film.  This magnetic concert will feature Grammy, Emmy, and Tony-nominated performers directly from Broadway, TV, and film. Joining the celebrity lineup for this exhilarating night of performances will be the university’s premier vocal ensemble group The Bee Sharps, SCAD alumni stars, and SCAD students. Featuring iconic hit songs from culture-defining Black artists in gospel, jazz, R&B, soul, spiritual and blues, as well as spoken word and dance, this uplifting, inspiring, and joyous concert experience spotlights the rich traditions and innovations of Black music and its influence to the world.
