Animation Show of Shows

SCADfilm is excited to host the 22nd edition of the Animation Show of Shows, curated by Ron Diamond. The show comprises 10 films -- nine recent, along with one restored classic, the 1987 Oscar Winning "The Man Who Planted Trees".  These films deal with both the anxieties and hopes of a world faced with a seemingly endless series of existential crises. The films come from Europe, Asia and North America are all inventive, their tone ranges from the whimsical to the profound; their techniques, from stop-motion to hand-drawn to computer-aided.
